Pre Order Al Carraway's Book

Start the band and hang the streamers, my book is now available for pre order! I couldn’t be more excited! I’m excited to go behind this awful nickname I am known by and write about what truly matters. My entire purpose for doing everything I do is just to let everyone know that God is real and the gospel is true and with that we can overcome and conquer and be happy even amongst the trials of life. That He is real. What we are a part of is real.

Though the official release date is November 17th, you can get it now through a few different sites:

Pre Order through Deseret Book: Here Pre Order through Barnes & Noble: Here. Pre Order through LDS Bookstore: Here.

It will also be available in both .epub (iTunes, Nook, etc.) and .mobi (Kindle) formats. The ebook version will not be available for preorder, but it should be right around the sametime the printed book is released.

Hear what others have said about “More Than the Tattooed Mormon.”

Brad Wilcox, Author of ‘The Continuous Atonement’ and ‘The Continuous Conversion.‘ // “A wonderful, wonderful soul! I just finished reading through her book and loved it. Thanks for writing with so much heart. Thanks for writing with unabashed faith. Thanks for writing about truth. Amazing lady! Amazing conversion! This is not just a story about what’s outside, but what’s inside. Al shares her story with frankness and passion. She fills each chapter with memorable insights and true wisdom. But this book isn’t really about Al. It is about God and you! it is about the transformation that is possible for all of us through the Atonement of Jesus Christ.”

John Bytheway, author of ‘How Do I Know If I Know?’ // “Al Fox Carraway is a wonderfully fresh combination of energy, humor and testimony. And at first, you might think this book is all about Al, but the more you read, the more you will find personal motivation to keep going, to keep trying, and to stay close to the Lord through all of life’s challenges.”

Hank Smith, BYU Religion Instructor & author of “Thou Shalt Be Nice” and “Being Happy in an Unhappy World.”// “If you put this book back on the bookstore shelf you are making a huge mistake. In these pages, Al takes you on one of the most faith building journeys you’ll ever experience. Al is real. Al is authentic. You’ll come away from this book adoring Al (especially her stubborn New Yorker attitude), but more importantly, Al’s story will bring you closer to Christ.”

Sistas in Zion, authors of ‘Diary of Two Mad Black Mormons.’ // “If you think you already know all there is to know about the Al Carraway story, think again. Al delivers her journey in the gospel with a zest rarely seen in Mormon memoirs. Even on the page her energy is so contagious that you find yourself moving from the sidelines cheering her on as she recounts her trials and triumphs, to being motivated to put some pep in your step in your own walk with God. Al Carraway is truly More than the Tattooed Mormon, this sista is a cheerleader for Jesus and instead of waving pom-poms she’s moving with the power of the Spirit.”

Michelle King, host of Mormon Times TV // “Al’s pure goodness and enthusiasm for the Gospel fill her new book, “More Than a Tattooed Mormon.” Once I started reading, I couldn’t put it down!

I’m thrilled she wrote her compelling, uplifting story—telling it in her own honest, frank and real way. Her change of heart changed mine. It caused me to think deeply and reflect on my own journey. Al Fox Caraway is a cheerleader for faith in the Savior and hope in the Atonement. She is on fire with the spirit of missionary work. And, because of her courage and dedication, she is touching hundreds of lives along the way.”
